In The Moment
A farmers market complex where families with children can come and have an authentic and healthy experience of being in the moment.
When I designed the complex, I wanted to create a blurring of boundaries between the inside and the outside by removing parts of the shell, which would create exposure to what was happening outside and inside at the same time.
The exposure allowed that at any given time the time of day would be reflected in the structure by the penetration of light at a different angle depending on the time, which would create an additional connection to being outside/in the moment.

Entrance
The structure simulates a sort of half-closed, half-open pergolas, which created different entrances to the market.

"Greenhouse" area
In the greenhouse area, groups and individuals will be able to enjoy tours and tutorials on growing vegetables in their own homes.

Market area
The different goods are displayed all along the market and each person can collect for themselves and absorb a unique market experience
